Visitor Hours

At Baptist North Mississippi we observe open visitation, which means guests may visit patients at any time in most patient care areas; however, some units require restrictions. It is important for guests to remember that patients need rest and a quiet environment. Guests should be mindful about their own health conditions before visiting patients, so please do not visit if you have a cold, fever, the flu, or are simply not feeling well.

We recommend general visiting hours from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. daily. After 9:00 p.m., all entrances and exits must be made through the front, main entrance doors. All other doors will be locked.

In critical care patient areas, it is requested that two (2) people visit at one time. Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Hospice and Palliative Care patients are afforded unrestricted visiting privileges.

Labor and Delivery visitors are limited to two (2) people of the mother's choice. All other visitors can wait in the lobby near the elevators for updates. Family Quiet Time hours will be observed daily from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
